OBITUARY Margaret Keith Tatum January 6, 1930 – November 8, 2018 Margaret Keith Tatum, 88, went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was was born January 6, 1930 in Cartersville, GA, the daughter of the late Ralph and Inez Keith, the wife of the late Buren Tatum, and the sister of Frances McCollum and the late Vera Keith Teems. After many years of service Margaret left Cartersville Bank and went to work at Thompson Weinman from which she retired.

After retirement she spent many years traveling with her late husband, Buren, and her sister Frances and late brother-in-law Jerald McCollum. In recent years her greatest joy was her involvement with Pine Grove Baptist Church of which she was an avid member. She sang in the choir and served as Treasurer of the Pioneer’s Club.

She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Margaret was the beloved aunt of Lisa Weldon along with Lisa’s daughter, Bryn Barber (Leighton) and son, Jesse Weldon (Nichole). She was also the dear “Aunt Mar Mar” to Lisa’s grandchildren (Lainey, Matthew, Layla, and Lydia).

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, November 11, 2018 at two thirty in the afternoon with the Rev. Clinton Green officiating. Interment will follow the services at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville.
