Obituary of Charles Corvin Charles Douglas “Dickie” Corvin, age 76, of Wytheville passed away January 16, 2019. He was born in Wytheville on November 14, 1942 to the late Fred and Daisy Sharitz Corvin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Mae Burris Corvin; a daughter, Barbara Hensley and two brothers, Hugh “Squeaky” Corvin and Fred “Sonny” Corvin.

Dickie was retired employee of the Town of Wytheville. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Nink and Martha Corvin of Wytheville; three grandchildren, Landon Corvin of Wytheville; Chelsey Hensley of Wytheville and Will and Marissa Hensley of Blacksburg; two nephews and one niece. Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. January 19, 2019 at Grubb Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Mack Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.
