Obituary of Charles Capra Charles J. Capra, Jr., 80, of Hillsborough, died peacefully at home on June 22, 2018. He was born on August 3, 1937 in Bound Brook, NJ, to his dear parents Mary (Cocco) and Charles Capra, Sr. Charles served in the US Army from 1956-1958 and retired as Vice President of Operations at Hermann Services Inc in 2002. He was a diehard Boston Red Sox fan, an avid bowler, and a Military history and trivia buff.

He also loved fishing, reading and traveling. He was kind and caring, and was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. Charles will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of over 53 years Mary (Canterelli) Capra, three loving sons, Charles (Judith) Capra of Hillsborough, NJ, James Capra of Franklin Park, NJ and John Capra of Macungie, PA, 2 cherished granddaughters, Sarina Angelina Capra and Krista Elizabeth Capra, and a dear sister Barbara Corsini of Martinsville, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother John Capra. Viewing Thursday, June 28, 2018, 4:00-8:00pm and Friday, June 29, 2018, 8:30-9:30am at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908) 725-1887.

Funeral Mass Friday, June 29, 2018, 10:30am, St. Joseph’s Church & Parish Center, 5139, 34 Yorktown Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Burial Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
