Charley A. Armour, Sr., 74, husband of the late Ruby J. (Phinnesse) Armour of Phoenixville, PA, died on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Born on June 7, 1944 in Arlington, TN, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Maggie L. (Dortch) Armour. He was a truck driver for McAvoy Brick Company and then drove for Southeast Veterans Center until he retired.

He served as Deacon at Bethel Baptist Church, was Chairman of the Deacon Board, and Sunday School Assistant Superintendent. Surviving are: Daughter, Barbara Armour; Son, Barry Armour; Son, Charles Armour, Jr. 7 Grandchildren: Christopher, Lauren, Justin, Breanne, Dante, Veronique, and Joseph. Brothers and sisters: Clyde Armour, Thomas Armor, Wylie Armour, Elizabeth Grayson, and Harriet Armour.

Preceded by grandson, Xander and brothers, James and DeValle Armour. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Bethel Baptist Church, 412 Fairview Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Thursday in the church from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
