Obituary for Cherie Adair Morris (Christensen) MORRIS, Cherie Adair (Christensen) died November 12, 2018. Cherie was the youngest of four children born on February 8, 1937 to Christian and Agnes (Dubisar) Christensen in Slope, ND. She graduated from New England High School, New England, ND in 1955.

She attended Airline Finishing School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Thereafter Cherie moved to Washington D.C. where she worked for the federal government. While living in Washington she met Joseph (Joe) Florian Vigneri.

They were married in Hartford, Connecticut in August, 1957. There were no children from this union and in January of 1967 Joe was killed in an automobile accident in Louisiana while on active duty in the Air Force. In April of 1968 Cherie married William Richard Morris, a career officer in the Air National Guard in Aurora, Colorado.

William brought four teenage children to the marriage, and in the mid 70’s Cherie and William adopted two children, Christine (14 months old) and Mark (8 years old). Visitation will be held at Adair Funeral Home, 8090 North Northern Avenue, Tucson, AZ, on Thursday, November 29th from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Cherie is survived by her children, Daughters, Christine Morris, Michele Miller, and Lanette Mackey; Sons, Michael Morris and Mark Morris (all of Tucson, AZ); grandchildren, Beryl Baribeau, Kirsten Price, and Lori Taylor (all of Denver, CO), Dante Miller (of Corpus Christi, TX), Rebecca Brown (of Tucson, AZ) Robby Brown (of Charleston, NC), Brandy Morris (of Tucson, AZ) and Misty Morris (of Newton, NC); Sister Gloria Hansen (of Williston, ND) and brother Milbern Christensen and his wife Bertha (of Glen Ullin, ND) and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Florian Vigneri, second husband, William Richard Morris, daughter, Deborah M. Taylor, Father, Christian Martin Christensen, Mother, Agnes Christensen, and Brother Jim Christensen. Cherie will be interred with her husband, William Morris, at the Southern Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Sierra Vista, AZ. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018, 12:00 pm at, with Pastor Main officiating.
