Cheryl Ann Greeno, 61 years, of Archbold, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, May 31, 2018 in her residence. Cheryl was born November 7, 1956 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Bruce and Carolyn (Fox) Moore. Graduating in 1975, Cheryl began working and was a bartender for the Eagles Aerie in Montpelier for the past 20 years.

She was a member of the VFW Post 3360 Ladies Auxiliary in Defiance as well and the American Legion Post 669 Ladies Auxiliary in West Unity. Cheryl loved to garden, whether flowers or vegetables and just being outdoors in general. She had a love for animals and would rescue anyone she found.

She enjoyed helping her companion Frank run his farm, doing whatever was needed. Cheryl loved to cook and depending who you spoke with, there were many favorites! Cheryl had a passion for her family and loved to spend time with them.

Surviving are her children, Brandie (Chad) Hayes of Oregon, Ohio and Shaine Ferguson of Columbus, Indiana; companion, Rod “Frank” Nafziger of Archbold; stepdaughter, Kiley Nafziger of Hamilton, Indiana; five grandchildren, Makye, Madisyn and Mac Hayes, Malia Henderson and Cole Devlin; two brothers, Bruce (Monica) Moore of Austin, Texas and Sean Moore of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Michael and John McAleese. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity.
