Chester Lawrence Burton, 81, of Freeport, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at his home. He was born August 16, 1937 in Little Falls, New York. He married Patricia H. Wold on January 19, 1957 in Bissmer, MI.

Chester worked as a trailer mechanic for Freuhauf, was a Union Steward and also served as a volunteer fireman. At age 35 he gave his heart to Jesus and then began a forty-five year ministry, pastoring churches in Wisconsin, Tennessee, North Carolina, Michigan and Illinois.
