Obituary for Christian F. Cwik PALATINE – Christian F. Cwik, 78, was born July 24, 1940, in Chicago, and passed away Sept. 23, 2018, in Streamwood. He was a retired electrical engineer for Northrop Corporation and was involved in the development of the Stealth Bomber.

He was a private pilot who took his kids looking for Santa on Christmas Eve, an usher at St. Thomas Becket Church, and a man who could fix anything. Loving father of Sharon (Don) Kelly, Steven (Tracy) Cwik and Scott (Susan) Cwik; dear grandfather of Bradley Cwik, Ryan Cwik, Conor Kelly, Nicole Cwik, Nicholas Kelly, Samantha Kelly and the late Christopher Cwik; fond brother of Marilyn (Marty) Mast and the late Michael (Mary Kay) Cwik. Visitation Friday, Sept.

28, 4 to 9 p.m. at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect. Lying in state Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Becket Church, 1321 Burning Bush Lane, Mount Prospect. Interment private.
