Christina’s Obituary Christina L. Chavez Montoya passed away on February 2, 2019 in Glendale, AZ. She was born on June 21, 1943 to Joe Cruz and Cecilia Chavez in Concho, AZ. Christina grew up in Holbrook and that’s where she met her Husband, Felix Montoya Jr

They married and raised 3 children together. Christina worked for Motel 66 in Holbrook for more than 18 years. She was also a homemaker and loving mother.

She enjoyed life and was loved by all. Christina is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Cruz and Cecilia Chavez; 4 sisters; 3 brothers; her in-laws, Felix Sr and Mary Montoya; 3 sisters-in-law, 5 brothers-in-law; and her eldest grandson, Damien Montoya. She is survived by her husband, Felix Montoya Jr; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Montoya and Penney Sosa; 1 son, D’akhenya Michael Montoya; 5 granddaughters; 1 grandson; and 5 great granddaughters.

Christina will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 E. Arizona St,, with the Rosary being held at 10:00 am and Mass at 11:00 am in Holbrook, AZ. Interment will follow in the Holbrook Cemetery.
