Obituary for Christine “Chrissy” G. Schlegel Christine “ Chrissy” Gwen Schlegel was an amazing daughter, sister, friend and co-worker. She was born November 23, 1966 and passed away on November 4, 2018 at home in Highlands Ranch, CO. She was 51.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her Brother – Kurt Schlegel, Castle Rock, CO; Sister – Wendy Schlegel, Philadelphia, PA, Step-Mother Terry, Step brothers and Sisters, Ronald Jr., Frank, John, Tracy, Brian, Michele and Christopher Platt. Christine was born in Summit, New Jersey and grew up in Wayne New Jersey and Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

She graduated from North Penn High School and was a member of the Color Guard for the Marching Knights. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Communication from Temple University in Philadelphia PA. She worked for the National Park Service for over 22 years, working all across the country in various National Parks.

Most recently she worked for the Department of Interior, Payroll Division since 2016. Christine, Chrissy, and LaLa, were some of the names she was known by. She was known for her smile, kindness, care of others, encouragement, fun and ability to make everyone feel at ease.
