Lt. Col. Lowery was a native of Thomasville, GA, she was predeceased by her parents James Monroe Gilmore and Emma Jean Jordan Gilmore and Great Mom.

She was retired from the US Air Force and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg, GA. Survivors include her daughter, Stacy Johnson, Ross Parks and two cats of Fayetteville, NC; siblings, Eddie Gilmore of Albany, and Glenn Gilmore and Ann Gilmore Parker of Bremen; grandchildren, Christopher Bailey, Kyle Bates, Zack Bates and Katlyn Bailey; Jay & Jennifer Gilmore (nephew and wife) -Charity Gilmore & Abigail “Abby” Gilmore (her great nieces), Randy Culberson (1st cousin) Express online condolences at www. williamsfuneral.net.
