Christine Mary Ricketts, 67, of Orwigsburg, passed away Tuesday, June 5th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network, Allentown. Christine was born in Mahanoy City on May 13, 1951, a daughter of the late Mary (Giesen) and Leslie Minnich. She was the wife of Charles K. Ricketts.

They were married for ten years. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Rest Haven before retiring and a graduate of Mahanoy Area School. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she had a true zest for life.

She loved to spend time in her yard gardening while watching the birds and deer. Her family was her heart. Entertaining family while eating a home cooked meal was truly what made her the most happy.

She loved to bake, and her children and grand children loved it too! The aroma of pies, cakes and cookies always filled the air in her home. All her grandchildren will cherish the times spent with her making cookies, the fun times had during their annual holiday craft days and most importantly snuggling with her while watching movies.

Your annual Halloween party will be missed by all and Christmas will never be the same. There is a huge hole left behind by her passing, one which will never be able to be filled. Until we meet again, you will forever be loved remembered and missed as a perfect wife, an AMAZING Mom and a most loving Nanny.

Christine is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Ann, wife of Matthew Patterson, three sons Edward John Sincavage, husband of Amanda, Leslie Kenneth Sincavage and his fiance Leslie Gutosky, Michael Allen Sincavage. Grandchildren Tanner, Lillianna, Madison, Chase, Preston, Mateo, Avan, Amara and was looking forward to the arrival of Kaylee, two sisters, AnnMarie, wife of Bill Eisley, and Catherine, wife of Paul Koback. She is predeceased by grandson Tyler Sincavage.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tyler Sincavage Memorial Fund at the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation, 216 S. Centre Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
