HOLYOKE: Christine Rose Clarke departed this earth to be with the Lord, due to a tragic accident on October 21, 2018. She was born in Holyoke on November 19, 1948, the daughter of the late Walter J. and Theresa A. Clarke. A graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School Class of 1966, she went on to attend Rivier College in Nashua, NH.

Christine worked for many years at the Holyoke Savings Bank. Relocating to Burlington and Es Junction, Vermont, she worked at the Blue Tooth Restaurant. She was a beautiful girl, an artist and seamstress.

Christine loved spending time with her beloved nieces, Sarah and Alyssa. We will all miss her greatly in our lives. She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Steve Clarke and his wife Donna; her sister, Connie Sugrue and her husband, John; niece, Alyssa Sugrue; niece Sarah Sugrue Kohm and husband Aaron; and great nephews; Theo and Brandon Kohm.

All services are private. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at a later date. Rest peacefully dear sister for you are loved.
