Obituary for Christopher G. Schillander Sr. Christopher G. “Chris” Schillander Sr. passed away unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Chris was 43 years old. He was born in Wayne, New Jersey on March 7, 1975.

Chris graduated from Wayne Hills High School class of 1993. Chris married Jennifer Brown in Wayne, NJ on May 4, 2001. Chris and Jennifer, along with their children, relocated to Port St Lucie in 2012.

Chris and Jennifer were both chefs at Hutchison Shores Resort & Spa in Jensen Beach. Although Chris enjoyed cooking and preparing banquets, he loved that he was able to work with his wife every day. He had a sharp, sarcastic and witty sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.

Chris and Jennifer were completely devoted to each other and to their children. Chris is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jennifer, along with the children he will forever cherish, daughter Julianne and son Christopher Jr., as well as his beloved mother Helen Lowe. Chris’ beloved father, Eugene Lowe, predeceased him in 2014.

Chris was a loving son-in-law to Mary Brown, brother to Gene Lowe (Nancy), Pat Lowe, Tommy Lowe (Katherine), Barbara Varcadipone (John), Marshall Pelz (Dee), Sheryl Polizzi (Steven); brother-in-law to Brandy Finello, Amy Tinus (Steve), Carrie Sarbadhikari (Sandy); uncle to Crystal Snell (Russell), John and Zachary Varcadipone, Rachel Guez (Fady Sidhom), Debra Anen (Shawn), Alexis Saley (Mike), Eugene Lowe, Jacob Finello, Drew and Natalie Tinus, Max and Trevor Polizzi and nephew to Judy Criscitelli (Joe) and Eileen (Dan) Watson. Services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Yates Funeral Home, 7951 South US Hwy. 1, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
