Christopher J. Courtney May 16, 1946 – March 26, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Christopher J. Courtney, 72 of East Greenwich, passed away March 26, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Francine D. (Talbot) Courtney. Born in Washington, DC, he was a son of the late William V. and Constance (Coleman) Courtney.

Mr. Courtney was an I.T. Senior Analyst for CVS. He was a Navy Veterans of the Vietnam War, a former Fire Commissioner for East Greenwich and former Commander of the Quonset Davisville Navy Yacht Club. He liked to travel and enjoyed boating.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Francine D. (Talbot) Courtney and brothers, William and Peter Courtney. He was the father of the late Kyle S. Courtney. Funeral Service Saturday, March 30th at 10:30am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.

Visitation prior to the service 9:30-10:30am. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
