Obituary for Clara Marie Hall Salem, Oregon – Clara Marie (Glantz) Hall Passed away in McMinnville, OR on September 15th, 2018 surrounded by family. Clara was born in Huntley, Montana to John Pete and Mary Glantz on November 16th, 1925. Clara was the youngest of 5 Children.

As a young child she worked in the sugar beet fields in Montana and helped her parents on their berry farm. Clara was an expert berry picker. When Clara was a teenager her parents moved her and her siblings to Woodburn, Oregon where she continued to work in the berry fields and then the hop fields.

Clara married Veloyce Hunking and had Jimmy, Arlene and Dennis. Clara always worked hard and loved to play Yahtzee and bingo with her children and grandchildren. She would kiss the dice before she rolled and would say “come on baby”.

She loved to make pineapple, coconut cake for her family’s birthdays and when she smiled her brown eyes would sparkle. Clara was a very loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother. She will be missed very much.

Clara is preceded in death by her son James (Jimmy) Hunking and Grandson Travis Hunking. She is survived by her daughter Arlene (Michael) Phillips of Prineville, OR, Dennis (Sheryl) Hunking of Keizer, OR, Grandchildren Teresa Phillips of Prineville, OR, Judy (John) Howard of Sherwood, OR, Colleen (Jarrid) Bourne of Prineville, OR, Dustin Hunking of Troutdale, OR, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren Upcoming Events Cryptside Service , SEP 20. 10:00 AM Belle Passi Mausoleum 1000 Belle Passi Road NE Woodburn, OR, US, 97071 www.
