Clarence’s Obituary A Memorial service for Clarence Jenkins, 79, will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 13500 Oak Grove Rd S, Burleson, TX. Clarence passed away on January 27, 2019 in Bonham, Texas. Clarence was born in Columbia, South Carolina to William Henry Jenkins, Sr. and Carrie Amelia Dennis on February 21, 1939.

After he attended high school in South Carolina, he enlisted in the Navy. He served in the Navy from 1956 to 1960. Clarence worked for the Queen Mary and the City of Long Beach, California as an Electrical Engineer since July 1962 to his retirement in October 1993.

Clarence along with his first wife Laura (our mother) dedicated their lives to serving Jehovah in 1974 and both remained faithful to Jehovah until their deaths. Clarence remarried after Laura passed to Jacqueline Wandick. They moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1995.

He served as an elder and pioneer for many years. Jacqueline passed away in 2011. Clarence will be missed by his family and friends.

We know that we will see our father, mother and sister in the Paradise New World, where they will be brought back to a perfect life and will be whole. We wait patiently until that time arrives where we will welcome them back. Clarence is preceded in death by his father, mother, 2 brothers (William and Cornell), 2 sisters (Vernell and Wilhelmina), Laura Jenkins (1st wife) and Jacqueline Jenkins (2nd wife), and daughter, Rachel Jenkins.

Clarence is survived by his daughters, Beverly McGee and Sharon Azueta and her husband, Doug, grandson, Joshua McGee, two grand-daughters, Nina and Taylor Azueta, one sister, Mary Townsel, two close nieces Audrey Carter and Gina Bray and a host of other family members. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Wise Funeral Home. The family of Clarence Jenkins wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at the Clyde Cosper Veteran’s Nursing Home who embraced our father with so much love and affection.
