Clarence Redhead, 95 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Clarence was born in St. George’s, Grenada, the British West Indies. He came to America in the mid ~ 1950’s and meet his wife who predeceased him Isabella Rebecca Drayton Roberts and then they settled in Perth Amboy.

He was a member of New Jersey Laborer’s Union, Local 472, Matawan as a Laborer for 30 years and he retired in 1985. He is preceded in death by his devoted wife Isabella R. ( nee Drayton ); cherished father of Avis Holder and Ira James Drayton; loving son of Reginald and Rose ( nee Nelson ) Mc Sween Redhead; dear brother of Sydney Charles, Dr. Chester Redhead, Regina Atkinson. He is survived by his devoted children Lesley, Elizabeth Roberts and Clarence R Redhead, Celia Louison, Sylvia Redhead and Grayson Bain; dear brother of Myme McSween; adored grandfather of 20 and great ~ grandfather of 4; cherished uncle of many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 23018 at 10 am at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Tuesday from 7 ~ 9 pm.
