Clarence W. Snipes, 84, of Manteno, passed away Monday (March 18, 2019) at his home. He was born Nov. 15, 1934, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Woodford Henry Snipes and Isabelle Spriggs Snipes.

Clarence married DeLoris Snipes on Aug. 22, 2004. He was the owner and operator at Clark Foam.

Clarence served in the U.S. Army, HQ 10th Divarty Unit as Comm Chief. He attended Peoples Church in Bourbonnais. His hobbies included motorcycles and golf.

Surviving are his wife; daughter, Cynthia (Rick) Mayer, of Urbandale, Iowa; stepdaughter, Deborah Cullins Smith, of Mascoutah; sons, Ricky (Melissa) Snipes, of Momence, and Jeff (Jeana) Snipes, of Donovan; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and his first wife. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 22, until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Peoples Church in Bourbonnais, with the Rev.
