Obituary for Clarice I. Barnett Clarice I. Barnett, 94 of Zanesville, died 12:09 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2018, at The Oaks at Bethesda in Zanesville. She was born Friday, February 24, 1924 in Steubenville, the daughter of John C. Wilson and Helen M. (Anderson) Wilson. She married Hugh T. Barnett on Friday, June 18, 1948, and was a member of the First Christian Church of Weirton.

Clarice graduated from Steubenville High School Class of 1942, and was a 60 year member of LaBelle View Order of the Eastern Star. She greatly enjoyed camping, winters in Florida with her husband and daily breakfast with the K-Mart Breakfast Club. Clarice is survived by three children: Karen Barnett of Zanesville, Linda (Greg) Davis of Carolina Shores, NC, and Tom (Brenda) Barnett of Oshkosh, WI; six grandsons: Ryan (Danielle) Davis, Brad (Pesey) Davis, Mark (Ashley) Davis, Jonathan (Cassey) Barnett, Chris (Holly) Barnett and Josh Barnett; seven great- grandchildren; one sister-in-law: Jean Verner of Weirton and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Clarice was preceded in death by her husband: Hugh T. Barnett who died October 22, 2007; an infant daughter: Beverly Jean Barnett and one sister Betty Jean Nelson. A Celebration of Life Service in honor of Clarice will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, with Rev. Dawn Remster officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 1:00 PM till time of service.
