George J. Deed Sr., 72 of Coshocton, passed away May 23, 2018 at Coshocton Memorial Hospital. He was born August 16, 1945 in Coshocton, son of the late, Elizabeth Madaline Deeds and Roy Lockard Deeds. He worked for Muskingum Iron Metal, Gorsley Trucking and retired from Henerson’s Trucking of Illinois (as a truck driver).

George loved watching wrestling, his movies, cook outs on the grill and his loving wife, Frances. He is survived by his wife, Frances K. Newell Deeds of the home; daughter, Tia (Joe) Cumberledge of Zanesville; sons, George J. Deeds Jr., William Lee Deeds both of Zanesville; step-son, Theodore L. Newell of Hopewell; step-daughters, Terrie Harter and Robin Merideth of Zanesville; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Deeds of Dresden; sister, Geraldean Deeds of Marietta. Per his wishes cremation has taken place.
