ZANESVILLE Gary Lee Henderson, 75 passed away Monday, May 7, 2018. He was born August 19, 1942 in Zanesville to the late Clyde and Jean Bridwell Henderson. He owned and operated the Registered Burglar and Fire Alarm Company and Mid State Auto Brokers.

He was a member of Fultonham United Methodist Church. Gary enjoyed NHRA drag racing, motorcycles, cars and was an animal lover, especially cats. He is survived by his loving companion Donna DeMent; four children: Laurie (Mark) Coplin, Deidre (Brian) Pearce, David (Jessica) Henderson and Jamie (Terence) Miller; nine grandchildren: Nicholas and Bo Coplin, Adam and Hayleigh Pearce, Harleigh and Mitch Henderson, Kayla, Kaitlyn and Kara Miller; two great grandchildren: Ayla Pearce and Remington Farnsworth; and a great grandchild on the way.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence and Ona Bridwell. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter, 1430 Newark Road, Zanesville, OH 43701. Calling hours will be 6 to 8PM, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to the service.

Funeral service will be at 11AM Friday, May 11, 2018 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Michael Rodriquez. A private burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery. To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.
