Emily Elizabeth Sue Goins, 18, passed away June 29, 2018 at the Koebacker House in Columbus. She was born February 4, 2000. She is survived by her parents, Melissa Salaiz Ballengee and step father, Chris Ballengee of New Mexico; two brothers Brandon and Channing Goins, of Zanesville; a sister Destiny Goins, of Columbus; nieces, Infinity and Aalihya; nephew, Dakari; aunts, Wendy Harris, of Zanesville, and Laurie (Simmie) Davis, of Georgia; uncles, Matthew (Shairry), and Justin (Peggy) Goins, of Zanesville; a special cousin, Seth Mayle, of Pataskala; and a host of cousins and other family.

Emily was the granddaughter of Lawrence and Jackie Goins, of Cutler. She was preceded in death, by a cousin Matthew “Bud” Goins; great-grand parents, Gayle and Ethyle Smith, Isaac Goins, and Caroline Mayle. Emily had planned on becoming a chef and loved country music.

You may call on the family Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED. Pastor Steve Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Kilvert Cemetery, Athens county, Ohio.
