Obituary for Claudet Denise Glenn-Crawford Claudet Denise Glenn-Crawford entered this world on January 25, 1966. Affectionately known to all as “Pumpkin,” she was known for her long pig tails and later on, her smart and sassy mouth. Pumpkin faced many challenges in her life, but she always persevered with a bright smile and a heart of gold.
She was known for being the life of the party and saying anything she wanted, but most importantly, for loving without limits. Pumpkin opened her home and heart to anyone in need. She did not judge and she demonstrated kindness in all that she did.
Claudet LOVED Michael Jackson, Princess Diana, crossword puzzles and all things movie and TV trivia. She enjoyed taking her family and friends to the zoo with her and she was a life-long member of the Glenn family reunion planning committee. Claudet married the love of her life, Michael A. Crawford, on June 28, 2003.
Their blended family included 10 children. Nothing made Pumpkin more proud than her children and their accomplishments. Claudet transitioned from this world on January 4, 2019 in her home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Willis and her mother, Olivia Hilmon. She leaves to cherish and honor her memory, her husband, Mike; her children, Lisa (Darryl), Kimberly (Alfred), Cameron, Mikhael, Claude (Kedra), Chelsea and Zachary; her step children, Joseph, Joel, Jeff and Jenny; her grandchildren, Alfred Jr., Aubrey, Claude Jr., Addyson, Ryan Jr., Darryl and Emerson; her step-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Lauchlin, Karagen and Madeline; her siblings, Kim, Philip and Marlon; her bonus daughter, Christon; and a host of cousins, nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles and friends. She only stayed with us here on earth for 52 years but she left an irreplaceable stamp on each of our hearts.
She will live on through our memories, her legacies and her countless kind deeds. Until we meet again…love you Pumpkin. Visitation will be on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Funeral Home.
