Claudiena Moody, age 89, passed away on May 3, 2019, at Vantage Pointe Village in Ashland City, Tennessee. Claudiena was a retired office manager from Kroger, where she worked over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Martha Williams Vester; husband, Jack Moody; daughter, Cheryl Simmons; sister, Adelle Hopkins; and grandsons, Shane and Stratton Jones.

She is survived by sons: Donnie (Gloria) and Mike Jones; sister, Dorothy (Jimmy) Burroughs; son-in-law, Wayne Simmons; and grandchildren: Jeffery Simmons, Parker, Grayson and Todd Jones. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 8th, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother David Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7th from 4pm to 8pm and on Wednesday, May 8th, from 10am until service hour of 12noon. Serving as pallbearers are Lou Rodriguez, Parker Jones, Jim Burroughs, Kip Stratton, Wayne Simmons, and Jeff Simmons.
