Obituary for Clayton Lynn Pelloat Clayton Lynn Pelloat, 62, of Groves, Texas passed away November 19, 2018. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on June 27, 1956 to the late Albert Pelloat, Jr. and Hazel “Pauline” Jorgensen Pelloat. Clayton owned his own restaurant called “Clayboys Smoke Pit” in Groves.

He was a member of Carpenter’s Way Church. Those left to cherish Clayton’s memory are his wife, Christine Pelloat of Groves; his sons, Clayton Pelloat and his wife, Ginger of League City and Richard Morgan of Port Arthur; his sisters, Paula Broussard and her husband, Gary of Groves, Stacee Payne and her husband, David of Little Cypress, and Tammy Robicheaux and her husband, Billy of Orange; grandchildren, Mallory and Andrew Pelloat, Ashleigh and Tyler Morgan; his nieces, Bridget Phillips and Pam Colichia; great-grandchildren, Jasper, Grayson, and Wesley Combs; also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Alan Jay Pelloat.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. Today’s Events Visitation , NOV 20.
