Obituary for Eileen Hockersmith Eileen Hockersmith, 83, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Port Neches. Eileen was born in Port Arthur, Texas on September 18, 1935 to the late Elmo Thomas Hockersmith and Dellora Carter Hockersmith. Eileen shared the Lord with others as a volunteer missionary from 1959 until 1988 and she also worked for Sears from 1997 until 2007.

Those left to cherish Eileen’s memory are her brother, Dan Thomas Hockersmith and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard, David and Rufus Hockersmith. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial in Port Neches.
