Obituary for Waylon Reed Paul Waylon Reed Paul, 15, of Groves, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. Waylon was born May 5, 2003 in Port Arthur, Texas to Karie Suzanne Holstine and Thomas Hubert Paul. He attended Nederland ISD, and Port Neches/Groves ISD and was in the 10th Grade.

Waylon is survived by his parents, Karie Hale and her husband, Jamie of Groves; his father, Thomas Paul and his wife, Lindy of Sam Rayburn; his grandparents, Billy Paul of Nederland, Molly Kavanaugh and her husband, Joe Manceaux of Groves, Bolan Holstine and Michelle Hughes of Beaumont, and Tommy and his wife Brenda Hale; his sister, Marissa Paul of Nederland; his brother, Jimmy Paul and his wife, Alicia also of Nederland; step-sister, Lauren Hale; aunts, Amy Cloud and her husband, Derrick, and Shelley Thibodeaux both of Nederland; uncles, Ted Holstine and his wife, Karen of Orange, and Jeff Holstine and his wife, Debbie of Katy, Dean and Brett Manceaux, both of Port Arthur. Also several niece, Payton Meissner; nephews, Kade and Connor Paul; and cousins, Jade Holstine, Kailey Holstine, Emily Mitcham, Derrick Cloud, Sammy Paul, Danielle Gabbard, Candice Paul, Layken Cloud, Joe Manceaux, Dylon Manceaux, and Dustin Collier. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Paul.

A gathering of the family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by the funeral services at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
