Clayton Winfield Heptinstall of Little Rock passed away May 22, 2019. He was born September 28, 1946 in Bauxite, AR to the late Jim and Bonita Heptinstall. He retired from the United States Air Force, after 22 years of service, as a Career Advisor Technician.

During his stint in the military, he devoted much of his time volunteering with the Special Olympics. After his retirement, he continued working in industries such as plant nurseries and Railroad transportation. In his spare time, he loved playing golf, and watching sports, war movies, and war documentaries.

He will be remembered for his calm demeanor, overly giving nature, and absolute unyielding humor. Clayton is preceded in death by his brother, Jim Heptinstall, Jr. and his parents. Survivors include his sisters: Martha Batytes, Bonnie Troutman, Patricia Garcia, Mickey Heptinstall, Glenda Scully, and Jan Hunter; many beloved nieces and nephews; in addition to numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the funeral home.
