Linda Ann Golden Kordsmeier, 64, of Ward passed away at her home on Thursday, May 16, 2019. She was born August 4, 1954 to Deen and Mary Golden in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a military spouse, she sacrificed greatly at the loss of her best friend and husband Patrick, who was killed in action in Taji, Iraq on April 24, 2004.

She was a devoted mother and member of the Catholic faith. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Larry Golden; and her husband, CW4 Patrick William Kordsmeier. Linda is survived by her children, Jason (Kristy) Kordsmeier of Beebe, David (Karan) Kordsmeier of Ward, Jennifer Legate (Michael) of Benton; eight grandchildren, Ryan Giger, Lauren Kootz, Connor Kordsmeier, Brandon Kordsmeier, Patrick Kordsmeier, Shawn Kordsmeier, Isaac Legate and Andrew Legate; one great-grandchild, Elijah Kootz; brother, Gary Golden; sister, Sharon Oxner; nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Visitation will be held 5:30 – 6:30 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2019 followed by a Rosary at 6:30 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at St. John the Baptist, 106 Pin Oak Drive, Cabot. A private burial will be held.
