Sonny Scott, 81, of Sherwood passed away May 7, 2019. He was born November 29, 1937 in Heber Springs to the late Sherman and Oma Scott. He was a retired dump truck owner and was an excellent carpenter.

He enjoyed deer camp and was always known for helping others. Survivors include his wife of almost 30 years, Martha Scott; his sons, Mark, Randy and Bryan Scott; step-son, Kirk Thompson; grandchildren: Tiffany Gains, Brad, Brittany, Alexandria, and Falon Scott, and; great-grandchildren: Georgia Grace and Michael Zachary Gains; sister Wilma Murphree and her husband Ray; brother, B.L. Scott. Sonny was preceded in death by a step-brother, Albert Mason; and an infant sister, Alma Faye Scott.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, May 10, 2019 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
