OBITUARY Cleo Maxine Holton September 12, 1922 – December 22, 2018 Cleo Maxine Holton, 96, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on December 22, 2018. She was born on September 12, 1922 in Blue Springs, Missouri to Wallace and Maude (Cole) Nicholson. In 1952, Maxine married George, Sr. and were together for 39 years.

Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, beloved aunt Gladys Steele (who tormented each other in Skip-Bo), and dear friend Millie Schmitz. She is survived by her children, daughter Janet (Fred) Ceule, Kansas City, MO; sons, George, Jr. (Carolyn), Overland Park, KS and Charles, Kansas City MO; grandchildren, Barbara (Mike) Reynolds, St. Charles, MO, Kathy (Paul) Diamond, Kansas City, MO, Carter Holton, Shawnee, KS, and Veronica Holton, Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Michaela and Justin Reynolds, St. Charles, MO, Mary, Evelyn, and John Diamond, Kansas City, MO. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 pm followed by a funeral service at 3 pm on Thursday, December 27 at Mt.

Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
