OBITUARY Cleo “Pat” Dixon Meacham October 18, 1934 – November 20, 2018 Cleo “Pat” Dixon Meacham, 84, of the Carpenter Community, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Heartfields at Cary. Cleo was born October 18, 1934 in Durham, NC to the late Jesse and Iola King Dixon. She was employed with Liggett and Myers retiring with over 30 years of service.

Cleo was a member of Lowes Grove Baptist Church where she taught the children’s Sunday school class. She was a faithful member of her church. Cleo was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Devere Meacham; and son-in-law, Don Burton; and six siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonya Burton; son, Rory Meacham and wife, Pat; brother, Tommy Dixon and wife, Lorraine; grandchildren, Ashley Matteson and Monica Hagwood and husband, Benji. A funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, November 23, 2018 at Lowes Grove Baptist Church, 4430 S. Alston Avenue, Durham, NC 27713. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 1-2pm prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Lowes Grove Baptist Church. Condolences may be sent to www.
