Mr. Cleveland Bailey, Sr. age 91 of Jacob City, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 12th at his residence with his family at his bedside. When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. It is well with my soul, it is well, it is well with my soul.

In humble submission to the will of God, Christian Memorial Chapel sadly announces the passing of Mr. Cleveland Bailey age 91 of Jacob City, Florida. Mr. Bailey transitioned into eternal rest and peace Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Jacob City, Florida. Although we are saddened by his passing, we rejoice in knowing that he in a land “where he’ll never grow old”.

Farewell, Mr. Bailey, you were tired and needed your rest. You were called forth by God, and your soul was truly blessed. We will not weep and mourn because we don’t see you on this side anymore.

We know that you’ll be waiting to meet us on the other shore. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4-5 PM (EST) in the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Port St. Joe, Florida. On Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 4-7 PM (CST) in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, Graceville, Florida.

A Service of Love and Celebration will be 11:00 am, Friday, September 21, 2018 from the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Jacob City, FL with the Pastor/Teacher Obadiah White, officiating. His earthly vessel will be laid to rest in the stillness of the Church Cemetery. Please keep the Bailey family in prayer, as we reflect the gracious memories.
