Clifford L. Ray age 95 formerly of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Waupaca, WI. He was born May 15, 1923 in Prairie du Chien the son of Ora and Lenore (Halverson) Ray. He served in the US Navy during WW II.

He married Ruby Shedivy on February 24, 1946 at St. John’s Church in Prairie du Chien. After his service, Clifford worked for Oscar Mayer in Prairie du Chien and later retired from General Motors in Janesville, WI. In 1984 Clifford and Ruby retired to Las Vegas, NV.

Ruby preceded him in death on February 14, 2015. He is survived by his children, Sheila Ray of Seattle, WA and Thomas Ray of Viet Nam, his grandchildren Lisa and Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a sister Adeline Ray.

Funeral services will be held graveside on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien with Deacon Mark Grunwald officiating. Military honors were accorded previously in Waupaca, WI.
