Mr. Clifford “Cliff” Anthony, 79, of Dunnellon, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River. A native of Los Angeles, CA, he moved to this area in 1984, coming here from South Florida. Cliff retired from Marion County as a Plans Examiner.

He belonged to Wall Rives American Legion, and formerly was active in the Marion County Sheriff’s Band, the Salvation Army Band, the Marine Corps Band, and the Riverland Cloggers. He proudly served his country in both the US Marine Corps and the US Navy Seabee’s, where he served in Viet Nam. His survivors include his wife Diane, his daughters Kathleen Havlu, Karen Brillon and Kimberly Ryals, his sons Kenneth Anthony and Keith Anthony, his sister Janice Dobbs, his brother Milton J. Anthony, 20 grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren.

There will be a gathering of friends at 11 AM on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue. A committal will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala.
