Obituary for Clifton Ulysse Ledet Obituary for Clifton Ulysse Ledet Clifton Ulysse Ledet, 93, passed away on December 25, 2018, in Thibodaux at his home surrounded by his family. A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Thibodaux, LA from 12:00 Noon until the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm.

The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA. He was a devoted, caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend to many who will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by is five children and their spouses, Karl M. Ledet, Beryl Ledet Dupont, Kevin (Amy) Ledet, Lynne (Dennis) Bayhi, and Lyddy (Jeff) Lindley; and his 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Dupont (Skipper) Kalil, Lara (Billy) Bellanger, Erin Ledet (Trepp)Lombard, Rae Ledet (Robert) LeBlanc, Dennis Michael, Rebecca, and Michelle Bayhi, Lauren Bayhi (Patrick) Ledet, Jonathan, Sara, and Hunter Lindley, Collin (Christian) Ledet.

He leaves behind twelve beautiful great-grandchildren, Grant and Mary Catherine Kalil, Nate and Mya Bellanger, Jolie LeBlanc, Madison, Reagan, Myles, Rory, and Mazie Lombard, John Patrick Ledet, and William Ledet. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willamay Robichaux Ledet; his parents, Louis and Leanise Ledet; and his nine siblings. Clifton worked for Exxon for over 40 years.

He was a hard worker and enjoyed his years with Exxon. He made many long-lasting friendships. Clifton was a devoted Catholic who lived his faith day in and day out, and he could be seen every Saturday at four o’clock mass at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in the first pew with one of his grandchildren.

Being an avid gardener you could always find Cliff at Green Acres Nursery for 9:00 am daily coffee, gardening, and being their fix-it man helping with whatever they needed. His main focus in life was providing for his family and spending time with them. Landry’s Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
