Clyde Roger Miller October 25, 1958 – December 17, 2018 Mr. Clyde Roger Miller, 60, of 4009 Ashley Lane, North Dinwiddie, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born to James and Annie Miller in Warrenton, NC, when he was also reared. In his teenage years, he began working doing pulpwood hauling.
Clyde was employed at Glenn Raven Cotton Mill and Revlon. His also was employed at Joe Lewis Trucking in Frankconia, VA, that’s when he decided to settle down and live in Virginia and has for over 30 years. Clyde last job which he enjoyed the most was bridge and highway construction with D.D. Lyle Corporation.
Clyde was an outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed drag racing and cutting grass. Clyde was down to earth and would pitch in to help anyone who needed it.
Born: October 25, 1958 Death: December 17, 2018 He was preceded in death by both parents, James L. Miller and Annie Miller; and two brothers, Walter Miller and David Miller. Clyde leaves to cherish his wife of 19 years, Sabrina V. Miller; two daughters, Elmira Paige (Christopher) of Maryland and Sabrina R. Miller of Dinwiddie, VA; two stepdaughters, Takeila Gholson (Andrew) and Shantel Thomas (Detwan) both of Hopewell, VA; step-grandchildren, Dayveion and Demetriyah Trotter both of Hopewell, VA; two sisters, Shirley Williams (General Lee) and Belinda Yancy (Roger) both of North Carolina; brothers, George Miller, James Miller and Ernest Miller all of North Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Miller of North Carolina and Karen Gholson of Dinwiddie, VA; mother-in-law, Mary E. Gholson of Dinwiddie, VA. Clyde also leaves two special nieces, Cynthia and Shirley Person; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A host of life-long friends, Larry Edwards and Flaverous Vaughn both of North Carolina, George Walker of South Hill, VA, Norman Hill, Earl McCain, Craig Andrews, and Tony of Dinwiddie, VA. Clyde will always be in our hearts, mind and soul especially for me, his wife because I was his Bonnie and he was Clyde, we had a special bond and a good understanding of each other. Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Burchette Chapel United Church of Christ, 148 Burchette Road, Manson, NC.
