CoDan DeWayne Meshell May 7, 1988 – May 11, 2019 Funeral services for CoDan DeWayne “Cody” Meshell, 31, of Florien, LA, will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (Toro Community) with Rev. Buddy Freeman and Robert Leone, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 5:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (Toro Community). CoDan DeWayne Meshell was born on Saturday, May 7, 1988 in Many, LA. He passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at his home in Florien,LA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Meshell; niece, Faithlynn Meshell; grandfathers, Herbert Meshell and Charlie Pugh; uncle, David Pugh. He is survived by his daughters, Makenzi Meshell of Spokane, WA. , Addison Meshell of Spokane, WA.

and Lexie King of Pleasant Hill, LA. ; father, Howard “Chubby” Meshell and Kathy Birdwell of Zwolle, LA. ; sisters, Jessica Watson and husband John of Converse, LA.

, Crystal Meshell of Florien, LA. and Melissa Meshell of Many, LA. ; grandmothers, Dots Meshell of Ebarb, LA.

and Marlene Pugh of Florien, LA. ; nephews, DaShaun Meshell, Detrez Thomas, Jr., Isaiah Meshell and Dylan Watson; niece, Samantha Watson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Douglas Meshell, Jr., Douglas Meshell, Sr., Tyler Meshell, Cleve Rodrigues, Jonathan Meshell and Ethan Meshell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be DaShaun Meshell, Detrez Thomas, Jr., Isaiah Meshell, Dylan Watson, John Watson, Herbert Ray Meshell and Kevin Meshell.
