Obituary for Collette Porter Kennedy Collette Porter Kennedy, 70 of Ferdinand passed away Sunday April 8th in Ferdinand. Collette was born March 27, 1948 to Bernard P. & Priscilla (Birchler) Porter in Fulda, In. Collette retired from the state of Tennessee.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, drawing and painting. She was a member of the Ferdinand Senior Citizens. She was a Reiki Master massage therapist.

Surviving are brothers, Patrick Porter of Newburgh, and Charles (Rachel) Porter of Bristow. Sisters, Jean Hay of Austin, TX. , Linda Durcholz & Denise Porter both of Ferdinand, Joyce (Earl) Parker of Forney, TX.

, Judith Stillwell of Evansville, and Debbie (John) Blakey of Gentryville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews. She is survived by her dog Timmy.

Collette was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann McMahon, and four brothers, Regis, James, Tom and Mike Porter. Visitation will be held at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand Wednesday April 11th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM EDT. Cremation was chosen by Collette.
