Mrs. Connie Jean Collier, 65, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born in Whitesburg, KY to the late Esser and Virgie (Parson) Boggs. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, May 9 at 11 am with Rev.

Larry Morris officiating. Burial will follow at White’s Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and Thursday from 10 am until time of service.

On August 20, 1970, she married Delmon C. Collier; he preceded her in death on February 6, 2009. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning green beans. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachel (Larry) Neal; grandson, Nathan Collier Neal; brothers, Willard (Jenny) Boggs and Junior Ray Boggs; and sisters, Jewel Adams, Laura Adams, Wilma Watkins, Dorothy Aguayo and Learie Mae (Leo) Bowman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Eric Wayne Collier; daughters, Tracy Collier Gay and Erica Lynn Collier; and brothers, Elmer Boggs, Delmar Boggs, James Boggs and Richard Boggs. Memorials may be written to Nathan Neal Education Fund, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
