Constance “Connie”‘s Obituary Constance C. “Connie” Neogra, 84, of Nazareth, PA, formerly of Bangor, PA & Brooklyn, NY, passed away Tuesday, May 7th, at Gracedale, Northampton County Home. Connie was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 31, 1934, a daughter of the late William Letera, Sr. and Kathryn (Sveth) Letera. She was employed as a dental receptionist for Murray Schnipper, DMD in Brooklyn, NY until retiring in 1995.

Prior to that, she was a manager for Hinsch’s Confectionery for 25 years until 1976. Connie was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Bangor, PA, where she was a volunteer at the church rectory for 15 years, and a member of the Ladies Sodality. She was also a member of the Bangor Chapter of the Red Hat Society, a charter member and a former volunteer for Bravo Ambulance Corps in Brooklyn, NY where she was awarded several service awards from the mayor.

Connie also formerly volunteered as a CCD teacher in Brooklyn, NY for many years. Connie is survived by two daughters, Geri Andreacchio Lee, wife of Ronald and Carol Foley, wife of Vincent, both of Bangor, PA; a son, William Neogra, of Bangor, PA; two sisters, Joan Leone, wife of Frank of New York, and Geri Horvath, wife of William of Ohio, 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother William Letera, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, May 11, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 436 S. Second Street, Bangor, PA, with Fr.

Stephen Maco officiating. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 10th, from 6 – 8 PM and Saturday, May 11th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM all at the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 314 S. First Street, Bangor, PA. Burial will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Portland, PA.
