Constantine “Costa” Stavropolous passed away June 23, 2018 He was 87. He was born in Amfithea Kalamata Greece on May 10, 1931 son of the late Theodore and Voula Stavropoulos. Beloved husband of Anna Stavropoulos residing at Blaire House in Milford.

His children Sophia and her husband Richard Bethune of Cumming Georgia, Helen and her husband Kevin Cloutier of Uxbridge, Ted Stavropoulos and his wife Melissa of Milford, Steve Stavropoulos and his wife Becky of Santa Rosa California. Brother of Calliope Andreadis of Stonehan, Helen & husband Bill Georgountzos of Newton, and the late Leonidas Stavropoulos. Also survived by his grandchildren Tabitha, Zackery, Brandon, Nicole, Devin, Stella, McKenna and Piper.

Lived in Amfithea Kalamata Greece most of his younger years in the home where he and his siblings were born. He enjoyed being with his family amongst their acres of beautiful grape fields, fig and olive groves. He left Greece for England at the age of 18, where he began studying for Accounting.

He finished his studies in Canada at McGill University. He met his wife, Anna, in Boston Massachusetts. They married February 3, 1957.

They started their family in Montreal Canada with their first three children. He worked there as a senior accountant for Home Lines Oceanic. In 1968 they moved to Framingham Ma and had their fourth child.

Here he was an accountant for TJMaxx. From there he moved onto Electrolux as a salesman and manager, where he managed 5 offices throughout the state of Massachusetts. He mentored many young salespeople throughout the community and was well known as “Mr. Costas, the Greek, that sold me my vacuum cleaner!

” He made a connection with each customer and followed up with them throughout his years with Electrolux and afterwards in his retirement. He was also known to give a vacuum and rug washer to anyone getting married. He was proud to share his achievements with everyone.

He loved gardening, gorgeous perennial gardens, vegetable gardens, beautiful magnolias & mimosa trees. He enjoyed grilling and the company of family, friends and neighbors by his poolside & gardens. He also enjoyed Sunday afternoon card games with his cousins in Jamaica Plains.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 300 Barber Ave. , Worcester, Ma 01606 or Overlook Hospice Services, 88 Masonic Home Rd #2, Charlton, Ma 01507.
