OBITUARY Cora Ann Danielson Harder January 29, 1928 – December 1, 2018 Formerly Tahlequah, OK- Graveside Services for Cora Ann Danielson Harder will be held on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Cedar Tree Cemetery with Brother Les Bryan and Brother Ciro Castillo officiating. Cora Ann Harder was born on Sunday, January 29th, 1928 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Oscar Luallen and Phoebe (Chair) Danielson. She was raised in a family of two brothers and four sisters, Houston, James, Virginia, Kathleen, Dorothy and Laura. Cora graduated from high school then began her career and raising her son, Allan Harder.

She was proud of her Cherokee heritage and was the first Cherokee Nation employee in 1966. She later retired as an Indian Health Service Purchasing Agent. She also spent countless hours sewing and doing needle point until her health would no longer allow.

She was never one to sit idly by, Cora was an avid volunteering. She was active in the Oklahoma Democratic Party and also volunteered doing disaster relief work through her Church, of which she was a faithful member. Her pride and joy were her family and her grand and great grandchildren were the best people on earth to Cora.

She was blessed with a servant’s heart and smile that made everyone around her feel welcome. She would always be there to lend a helping hand and never asked for anything in return. Cora passed from this life on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by her family.

She was 90 years old and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, mother, father, two brothers, Houston Danielson and James Danielson and two sisters, Dorothy Bales and Laura Melgarde. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Allan Harder and wife Cheryl of Oklahoma City, OK, and her two grandchildren, Scott Harder and wife Rachel of Ft.

Lauderdale, FL and Amanda Little and husband Dr. Kendall J. also of Oklahoma City, OK. She leaves two sisters, Virginia Danielson-Bryan and husband Les of Eminence, MO and Kathleen Danielson Johnson of Keller, TX. She lives on in her two great grandchildren, Hal and Phoebe Little of Oklahoma City, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
