Obituary for Curtis D. Rhoades Curtis D. Rhoades, age 59, of Buckhannon, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at his home. He was born January 26, 1959, in Elkton, MD. He was united in marriage on May 1, 1980, to Susan Lee Jones Rhoades who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by one son Eric D. Rhoades and fiancée Katie Groah of Buckhannon; four grandchildren: Rayna, Willow, Godric and Nekaiya; one brother Larry Rhoades of Salem; one sister Marcy Rhoades of Elkton, MD; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and father- and mother-in-law Warren and Betty Sargent of French Creek. Curtis was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved helping others, especially by participating in biker runs. He also enjoyed the art of tattooing.

At the request of the deceased, the body was cremated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 24, 2018, from 10 to 11:00 AM at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wilma Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
