1960-2019 Cynthia J. Martinez, age 58, a resident of Los Chavez, NM, passed away on January 14, 2019. She was a member of the Los Chavez Baptist Church. Cynthia graduated from Belen High School in 1982.

She worked for Adelante Bargain Square for over 30 years. Cynthia was a true athlete and competed in the Special Olympics for many years. Her passion was music and she enjoyed playing the guitar with The Special Orchestra, entertaining all her special needs friends and family.

Cynthia was also a member of the Los Chavez Baptist Church Choir, where she sang faithfully every Sunday for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ida Vallejos Martinez; her loving Aunt Rosie M. Vallejos and her loving Uncle Jose Frank Vallejos. Cynthia is survived by her two brothers, Chris (Veronica) and John (Shari), as well as many loving Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Services will take place on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Los Chavez Baptist Church, beginning with a Public Viewing at 10:00 AM, and a Funeral Service at 11:00. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery. Please sign Cynthia’s online tribute at www.
