Dahlia Maude Jones, age 97, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Green Hills Community in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born in Allen County Ohio December 5, 1921, a daughter of the late William H. and Margaret A. (Slagle) McClurg. On October 20, 1942, in Newport, Kentucky she married Daniel Edward Jones and he preceded her in death December 27, 1980.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leo McClurg and a sister, Dottie McClurg. She is survived by two sons, Dallas (Kitrina) Jones of Marysville, Ohio and Mark (Rebecca) Jones of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Margaret (Dennis Black) Robinson of Gastonia, North Carolina; six granddaughters, Melissa (Scott) Flager, Teresa (Lance) Alexander, Tina (Brian) Smith, Shelly (Kevin Hardwick) Robinson, Jessimi (Graham Davis) Jones, Eliza (Steven) Cotton and eleven great grandchildren. Dahlia volunteered for many years with the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. Pastor Cheryl Siegenthaler will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 5 to 7 P.M. and one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty. The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. TD Donations may be made to: Mary Rutan Hospital Guild 205 Palmer Ave.
