Daisy Mae Wells May 16, 1935 – March 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Daisy Mae Smith Wells, daughter of the late Lawrence and Adell Solomon Smith was born in Lee County, SC on May 16, 1935. On Sunday March 24, 2019 at Treasure Hospice House, Port St. Lucie, FL. Daisy was called home to rest from her labor.

Mrs. Wells received her education in the public school system of Lee County. She loved her family and visited often from Fort Pierce, FL. Daisy was very fashionable and stylish.

She leaves to cherish her memory a companion Willie Smith, three brothers; Lawrence Smith Jr. of Sumter, SC, Robert Smith of Landover, MD and Joe (Janice) Smith of Monroe, NC; three sisters, Naomi Toney of Mayesville, SC, Bessie Commander of Sumter, SC and Jessie Mae (William) Nedd of Washington, DC; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Public Viewing will be held on Saturday March 30 from 2-6pm at Job’s Mortuary Daisy will be placed in the church on Sunday, at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday March 31 at 2pm at Mt.

Pleasant AME Church, Lynchburg, SC with Pastor Rev. Abraham Temoney Jr, Officiating Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant AME Church Cemetery.
