OBITUARY Damacio Trevino Guerra Jr April 21, 1924 – November 13, 2018 Damacio T. Guerra Jr. “Popo”, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. He was born on April 21, 1924 to Damacio Guerra Sr. and Petra Trevino Guerra. Damacio was a proud WW II Army Veteran and was awarded with a Purple Heart for his service.

Damacio will be remembered for being a great neighbor, his love of always helping and socializing with family and friends and his hobbies were improvising by making and fixing things, building BBQ pits and gathering pecans. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Altagracia C. Guerra.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda Guerra De La Garza of Dallas, TX, Sandra Guerra Bloor of Cedar Park, TX and Amanda H. Frye of San Antonio, TX. ; son, Joe C. Hinojosa of Corpus Christi, TX; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren also survive him. Visitation is scheduled Friday, November 16, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Entombment will be at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
