Daniel’s Obituary Daniel A. Kwasniewski, 52, of South Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 1, 2019. He was the loving husband of Joseph Ianonne and was the son of Carolyn (Best) Kwasniewski, and the late Paul Stanley Kwasniewski. Besides his husband and mother he is survived by his children Daylyn, Brayden, and Hailey; siblings Donna Desmarais and her husband Anthony, and David Kwasniewski; nieces Sydnie Coe, Alyson Thurber, and nephew Kyle Kwasniewski, as well as Dr. Anthony Desmarais and Christopher Desmarais.

Joe’s mother Yolanda Iannone; sister the late Judith DiPalma; niece and nephews Amanda, Anthony, and Alexandria DiPalma and many beloved extended family and friends. Daniel was a historical preservation architect; adjunct professor at Roger Williams University; also the President of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Institute of Architects; former partner of the Northeast Collaborative Architects and presently a senior associate at ZDS Architects. He was outgoing and adventurous, enjoying traveling the world, loved music, architecture, and was also a New England Equestrian Dressage champion.

His favorite places to visit was Nantucket Island and Monhegan Island in Maine which held a special place in both his and Joe’s hearts. He most of all loved driving the children with the top down in his Porsche 911 Convertible, taking long rides with his brother David and brother in law Anthony and spending time with his family and three dogs, Mason, Wallie, and Stewie. A funeral service will be on Friday, March 8, 2019 from Avery-Storti Funeral Home at 9:45am with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11am in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Rd, Charlestown, burial will be private.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia, St, Wakefield. Gifts to the Daniel Kwasniewski ’93 Memorial Scholarship will benefit an Architecture student at Roger Williams University, and can be addressed to Lisa Raiola, Vice President for University Advancement, Roger Williams University, One Old Ferry Road, Bristol, RI 02809.
